Our process has four stages:
Consultation, Design Planning, Construction, and Handover. We start with an in-home site visit to understand your goals, then our designers develop the concept, plans, and material selections. Once approved, our construction team brings everything to life, and we finish with a professional clean and styling before handing the keys back to you.
Do you handle both the design and the building?
Yes. NEWR is a fully integrated design and construct company. Our in-house interior designers and construction team work together under one roof, which means better communication, fewer delays, and a result that looks exactly like the renders you approved.
What types of renovations do you specialise in?
We specialise in kitchen renovations, bathroom renovations, ensuites, laundries, master suites, full home renovations, extensions, and custom spaces. We also offer a standalone interior design service for homeowners who need design guidance alongside their own builder.
How long does a renovation take?
Timelines vary depending on the scope of work. A bathroom renovation typically takes a few weeks in construction, while a full home renovation can take several months. During the design planning phase, we'll provide you with a clear project timeline before any work begins.
Do you provide 3D renders before construction starts?
Yes. Once your design is finalised and materials are selected, we produce detailed 3D renders for your approval before construction begins. This ensures you can see exactly what your space will look like before a single wall is touched.

Yes, we work with homeowners across Canberra and the surrounding ACT region. Our studio and showroom is based at 1/66 Maryborough Street, Fyshwick.
